Amanda Zipfell - Salon Owner

I have been in the Beauty industry for over 20 years. I first trained as a beauty therapist in 1991 and have had a very rewarding and varied career within this industry. I have been privileged to work as a freelance therapist for Centre parcs for 10 years and then worked offering stress relief massage to Anglia Television and Norfolk Constabulary. My career then took a different direction and I was given the opportunity to train as a teacher within the industry. I spent 9 years working in a further education college where I taught NVQ2 & 3 beauty related qualifications to both 16-18 year olds and mature students. It has been an essential part of my career to keep up to date with all new treatments on the market. I have been working at Finishing Touches for a year prior to taking on the business and feel that the salon has a lot to offer clients and excellently trained therapists.
